Whenever the opportunity arises the whole school or an individual class invites a local artist to visit school and work with the children on specific projects. Some of the results are added to the school's range of play equipment, and some form a permanent part of the schools structure.
The "Welcome Mosaic" at the front of the school was made by children with help of an artist in residence as was the "Wall Dragon" which adorns one of our playgrounds.The school weather vane was designed by a group of children who visited the forge to see their design being made and it now has a permanent place on the school roof.
